2025 National Register Internship Scholarships: Southeastern & Midwestern US

The National Register Internship Travel Scholarships provide financial support to students enrolled in psychology doctoral programs to help them physically relocate from the location of their graduate program to their selected predoctoral internship site.
We are thrilled to have our 2025 recipients relocating across the continent, and look forward to witnessing the widespread impact of their work through APF’s support! “I am so grateful for this opportunity to receive the American Psychological Foundation (APF) National Register Internship Travel Scholarship. As a first-generation student who grew up in low-income immigrant communities, I have had to navigate the burden of systemic barriers to resources while being a graduate student. This award will help alleviate some of the financial barriers of relocation and allow me to continue to advocate and support underserved communities, much like the ones I grew up in, for my final year of training.”

This funding will undoubtedly help ease this burden, allowing me to immediately engross myself in the opportunities provided at internship. Without such support, relocation for internship and the ultimate completion of my doctoral degree would certainly not be a given.”
